So tomorrow opens a new chapter in my book of life. I turn the BIG 3 0 tomorrow. I had all these ideas that I wanted to do for my birthday but when Mak had surgery all these plans are out. But Mak and I are going to the Ms Tomahawk pageant because we both love to watch them. Thanks Elizabeth for our tickets.
As I turn 30 i have taken the time to look back at all the things that have occured in my life. I have 2 beautiful relatively healthy kids. Makayla is my girly girl who reminds me of my mom (careful what you say about your mom-LOL) She has been a blessing all along since her birth. Cam is a bundle of energy that never quits. He is truly a "momma's boy" and has been that skirt clinger since birth-right Vickie? He has always been my beautiful bouncing baby boy. I love you kids-yall make my world go round!!! I have put myself through nursing school-thanks Mom and Dad for all yall did for me! I have been a Pediatric nurse for almost 8 years now. In those 8 years I have shed many tears- some of joy and some of sorrow. I have achieved a CPN (certified pediatric nurse) and am very proud. I work hard for the money...lol. I have a job where I get to be a big kid every day. Sure there are times that break my heart but I absolutely love my kids at work. Lastly but not any less important-Jason and I have been together for almost 9 yrs! WOW. He has put up with me and I have tolerated him....Its amazing what you learn about each other and yourself. Thanks you Lord for sending me someone to love me for me!!!
Finally, as i turn 30 I have a few goals in mind:
1st-get my family in to church. I feel that pull and hear the God Lord calling me but I have yet to open the door and let him in...
2nd-Get in shape-I have MVP (heart probs) and i need to get healthy for me and my family. I have joined the gym and have lost 9 pounds already! It feels great to have "me" time there.
3rd-grow closer to my friends and family. I love all you guys. I want to be in touch, have nights out, and see your kids!!!
